A personal request to all my readers: Some of you know my nieces and nephews as the inspiration for our History Lives series. On Thursday night, our six-month-old niece Aoife, who has Down Syndrome, was transported by helicopter to the hospital, where she is critically ill with double pneumonia. Yesterday they also discovered she needs open heart surgery, but she is far too weak to withstand that now. So please join our family in praying. The aunts and uncles have set up a blog to communicate her progress and receive donations. I invite you to leave a prayer or message for the family at http://www.helpbabyaoife.com/.
