Literature inspires a study on image bearing

Stop by The Scroll at Christians for Biblical Equality for my most recent post there, this time a few questions about what it means for human beings to bear the image of God. Some of the books I’ve reviewed here in the last few months, including The Memory Keeper’s Daughter and Where is the Mango Princess?, have prompted me to reflect a bit more deeply about this issue. Comments at The Scroll would be appreciated. I hope to process what everyone has to say and do a follow-up post later.
