Poem in Your Pocket Day
On this last day of National Poetry Month, carry a poem with you to read aloud at lunch, write out on the sidewalk with chalk, or exchange with someone else. Â Handwrite your favorite poem, revisit one of the ones we’ve discussed here recently, or print up one of these handy pocket-sized poems. If you decide to participate in Poem in Your Pocket Day, I’d love to know which poem you chose to carry; leave me a comment! Â For my part, I’ll be carrying the poem I kicked off this month with: Collins’ “Introduction to Poetry,” posted and discussed here.
