Sayers: “The Dogma is the Drama”

This week I found an interesting article in Christian History & Biography’s online archive (somehow I missed it in the summer issue). “Dorothy Sayers: ‘The Dogma is the Drama’” is an interview with Dr. Barbara Reynolds, president of the Dorothy L. Sayers Society and a friend and collaborator of Sayers. She talks about her friendship with Dorothy, the themes of Dorothy’s works, and how Dorothy came to write religious plays for the BBC.

I have never read Gaudy Night, which she considers one of Dorothy’s best novels, so that one is going on my list. Now I just have to get through the other books I’m currently reading! Expect a post about one of them this weekend.
