Internet homes of novelists and their characters

I’ve been poking around the internet tonight looking for the official websites of some of my favorite novelists. You’ll have fun with these:P.D. James (see her essay “Why Detection?”)
Dorothy L. Sayers (We share a middle name, not just the initial! Note that Eerdmans has just released a new edition of her highly-recommended classic “Are Women Human?”)
Khaled Hosseini (includes his bio, but the site hasn’t been updated for awhile)
Alexander McCall Smith (you can discuss his books in the forums)

Found websites dedicated to some great fictional characters, too:

Amelia Peabody, created by Elizabeth Peters (Turns out this series is as old as I am! Check out the “From Amelia” section for a great archive of Peabodyisms: “I hope I number patience among my virtues, but shilly-shallying, when nothing is to be gained by the delay, is not a virtue.”)
Thursday Next, created by Jasper Fforde (even the pop-up ads are relevant!)

I’d love to know what other novelists and literary websites you recommend—post your links!
