Leave it to my little sister to post a Facebook message today wishing me a happy Freelance Writers Appreciation Week! Â Didn’t know there was such a thing, but any excuse to celebrate, right? Â Ironically, I’m celebrating by turning down a freelance writing gig today; too much writing and editing on my plate at the moment. But I’m glad to take the opportunity to shout out to all my colleagues who write—full-time, part-time, nighttime—in pursuit of our craft. Â Give yourselves a pat on the back (and a glass of wine with dinner)!
